Bilingual Hindi and English wedding invitations
Dadi and Nani in Lucknow or Jaipur read Hindi; your friends in London, Toronto or New Jersey read English. Wedvitation gives every guest the full invitation in their own language, Hindi at one link and English at another, instead of a small-print translation under the main text.
Two complete invitations, each with its own link
Choose the invitation's main language, then add Hindi or English as the second language for $10. Send the Hindi link to relatives who read Hindi and the English link to friends and colleagues. A small button in the corner of the invitation also lets any guest switch between the two.
The design's wording comes already written in both languages. You write only your own details — names, venue, address, schedule — once in English and once in Hindi, such as “Welcoming the baraat” on one link and “बारात का स्वागत” on the other.
Family in India, friends abroad, several events
Many families have half the guest list in India and half in the US, the UK, Canada or the Gulf. Relatives at home open the Hindi link and read the date and schedule in their own language; friends abroad open the English one. If your wedding has several events, each one, like the mehndi or the sangeet, gets its own separate invitation, and each can be written in Hindi and English.
What each guest gets
- An RSVP inside the invitation, with no app or account
- A button that opens the route to the venue in their phone's maps app
- Add to calendar, and a countdown to the wedding
- Music from our library or your own song, and the design's animated opening
- The same link over WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram or email
Every reply lands in one dashboard
Whether a guest replies from the Hindi link or the English one, the answer reaches the same dashboard with the head count and their message. Download the list as a CSV spreadsheet for the caterer. Guests are unlimited, and the invitation doesn't expire.
Price
$29 for an Essential design or $49 for a Premium one, plus $10 for the second language — paid once, when you publish. Building and previewing the invitation is free.

Questions
Can I send the same link to everyone?
Yes. Every guest can switch language with the button on the invitation. Still, sending each guest the link in their own language means it opens in the right one straight away.
Do I need to translate the invitation into Hindi myself?
Only your own details. The design's wording already exists in Hindi and English, so you write just your names, venue, address and schedule in both.
Can the mehndi have its own invitation?
Yes. There are designs made for the mehndi night, and that invitation can be written in Hindi and English just like the wedding one. Each event is its own separate invitation.
What if relatives abroad read French or German?
Add a third and a fourth language for $10 each, with one more link per language.
