Bilingual French and English wedding invitations

In Montréal, Brussels or Geneva, or for a London–Paris couple, part of the guest list reads French and the rest reads English. Wedvitation gives each guest the whole invitation in their own language: English at one link, French at another, with no translation tucked underneath in small print.

One invitation, two complete editions

Choose the invitation's main language, then add French or English as the second one for $10. Send the English link to the friends and in-laws who read English and the French link to the family who read French. A small button in the corner of the invitation also lets every guest switch language.

The design's own wording is already written in both languages. You write only what is yours — names, venue, address, schedule — once in English and once in French, for example “Cocktail hour” on one link and « Vin d’honneur » on the other.

From Québec to the Riviera

A Montréal wedding often brings French-speaking cousins together with English-speaking friends from Toronto, and a wedding in Provence or the Alps may fly in a whole family from New York or London. Each guest opens the invitation in the language they read, taps once for the route to the venue in their own maps app and replies without hunting for a translation.

What every guest receives

  • An RSVP form inside the invitation, with no app or account
  • A button that opens directions to the venue in their maps app
  • Add to calendar, and a countdown to the big day
  • Music from our library or your own song, plus the design's animated opening
  • The same link by WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram or email

All the replies in one dashboard

Whichever link a guest answers from, French or English, the reply arrives in the same dashboard with the head count and their message. You can download the list as a CSV spreadsheet for the caterer. There is no guest limit and the invitation doesn't expire.

What it costs

$29 for an Essential design or $49 for a Premium one, plus $10 for the second language — one payment, when you publish. Building and previewing everything beforehand is free.

Try a design in French and English

Open a demo in French or in English, then use the language button in the corner just as your guests will.

Questions

Is one link enough for everyone?

It can be, because each guest can switch language with the button on the invitation. Sending each guest the link in their own language is simpler, though: it opens in the right one immediately.

Will I need to translate the invitation into French?

No. The design's wording already exists in French and English. You only write your own details — names, venue, address, schedule — in both.

Are there designs for a bachelorette party or a save the date?

Yes. There are designs for bachelor and bachelorette parties, bridal showers, birthdays and save the dates, and all of them can be written in French and English.

Can I add Spanish for one side of the family?

Yes. A third language costs $10, a fourth the same, and each comes with its own link.
