Arabic and bilingual digital wedding invitations

Wedvitation makes digital wedding invitations that read properly in Arabic: the whole page runs right to left, in Arabic typefaces, from the opening to the RSVP. You can also send one invitation in two languages — Arabic for one side of the family, English or any of the other ten languages for the other.

Right to left from the first tap

Choose Arabic as the invitation's language and every part of it is in Arabic: the opening, your names, the date, the schedule, the venue, the RSVP form and the wishes your guests leave you. The layout mirrors for right-to-left reading, and the Arabic text is set without the letter-spacing that breaks joined letters apart.

Every design comes already written in Arabic, so you only replace the names, date, venue and photos with your own.

Arabic and English in one invitation

Add a second language for $10. You fill in the texts in both languages and get one link for each — send the Arabic link to some guests and the English link to others. Any two of the twelve languages can be paired, so Arabic with French, Turkish or German works the same way.

What every invitation includes

  • RSVPs inside the invitation, with every reply in your dashboard and a spreadsheet (CSV) download
  • Wishes from your guests, which you keep and can hide from the page at any time
  • A button that opens the route to the venue in your guests' own maps app
  • Add to calendar, and a countdown to the day
  • Background music from our library, or your own song
  • Your own link, like wedvitation.net/i/sarah-omar, and a picture card when it is shared on WhatsApp
  • Unlimited guests, changes at any time, and no expiry date

What it costs

One payment per invitation: $29 for a design from the Essential collection, $49 for one from the Premium collection. Building and previewing the whole invitation is free — you pay only when you publish it.

Questions

Can the whole invitation be in Arabic?

Yes. Choose Arabic as the invitation's language and every part of it — the opening, the details, the schedule, the RSVP and the guests' wishes — is in Arabic and reads right to left.

Can guests read it in Arabic or in English?

Yes, with a second language ($10). You write the texts in both languages and get two links, one per language, so each guest receives the one they read.

Do guests need an app or an account?

No. The invitation opens in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, and guests reply inside it without signing up.

Is there a design for the katb el-kitab or the henna night?

Yes. There are designs made for the katb el-kitab and one for the henna night, and they can be written in Arabic like every other design.
