Bilingual wedding invitation: Greek and English
At many Greek–English weddings, friends in Melbourne, London or New York read English, while grandparents, aunts and cousins in Athens, Thessaloniki or Crete would rather read Greek. With Wedvitation every guest reads the whole invitation in their own language — not a translation in small print under the original.
Two complete invitations, one design
You pick the invitation's main language and add Greek or English as the second for $10. Then you choose how to send it: one link per language — the Greek one to family, the English one to friends — or one link for everybody. Every invitation carries a language button, so a guest who opens the shared link switches between Greek and English with one tap.
The design's own wording is already written in Greek and English. You write only your own details — names, venue, address, the plan for the day — once in each language, so one side reads “Reception” and the other «Δεξίωση».
Guests on two continents
Greek–English weddings often bring guests from far away: friends from Melbourne, Sydney or London, family from Athens, Thessaloniki or the islands. A guest in Greece opens the Greek link, reads the date and the plan in Greek, and finds the venue with one tap in their phone's maps app; a friend flying in reads the same in English.
What every guest gets
- Their reply inside the invitation, with no app and no account
- A button that opens the route to the venue in their phone's maps app
- Save the date to their calendar, and a countdown to the day
- Music from our library or your own song, and the design's animated opening
- The same link by WhatsApp, text or email
Every reply in one place
Whether a guest answers through the Greek or the English link, the reply lands in the same dashboard, with the number of people and their message. You can download the list as a spreadsheet (CSV) for the venue or the caterer. There is no limit on guests, and the invitation never expires.
The price
$29 for an Essential design or $49 for a Premium one, plus $10 for the second language — paid once, when you publish. You can design and preview the whole invitation for free first.

Questions
Can I send one link to everybody?
Yes. Send the same link to every guest: the invitation has a language button, and each guest switches to Greek or English. If you prefer, you can still send each guest the link in their own language, so it opens in the right one straight away.
Do I have to translate the invitation into Greek?
No. The design's wording already exists in Greek and English. You write only your own details — names, venue, address, the plan — in both languages.
What if part of the family reads another language?
You can add a third and a fourth language, each for $10; the language button then lists all of them, and every language has its own link as well.
When do I pay?
Once, when you publish. Until then you can build and preview the invitation for free; after that there are no monthly fees and no charge per guest.
