We are marrying on a terrace where the water starts about four steps from the last chair, and we would rather you arrived early and stayed late than got anything else exactly right. Everything you might wonder about — the hour, the road, what to wear when the wind picks up after dark — is on this page. Scroll gently.

A terrace on the bay, with the sea four steps from the last chair. Parking is on site; the walk down to the water is stepped, and there is a ramp on the eastern side.
Coastal formal. Linen, light colours, and something for your shoulders — the wind comes up off the water once the sun is down.
The terrace is decked and the path down is stone. Block heels or flats will thank you.
Your presence is the gift. If you would still like to mark the day, a card on the night is more than enough.
It is warm until about nine and then it is not. Bring a layer you would happily be photographed in.
One small card and you are done.
