How we got here
A borrowed umbrella
A downpour outside a Charleston bookshop, one umbrella between two strangers, and eleven blocks walked in exactly the wrong direction — on purpose.
A standing Sunday invitation
Her family one week, his the next, for two whole years. We learned each other's coffee orders, each other's cousins, and exactly which story every table now tells about us.
The question by the water
On an ordinary Sunday by the Ashley River, Sherif knelt in wet grass. Dina said yes before he finished the sentence.
Now it's your turn
One June evening, everyone we love on one lawn. That's the whole plan, and it's our favourite one yet.
How the day unfolds
Gates open
Arrive unhurried — there's shade, something cold to drink, and a seat with your name on it.
The ceremony
Out on the lawn, short and true. Half an hour later, we'll be married.
Golden hour & glasses
Cocktails under the trees while we sneak off for photographs. Wander, nibble, catch up.
Supper at the long table
A real dinner, seasonal and Southern, with toasts that will absolutely run long.
The first dance
We open the floor — then it belongs to everyone until the band gives out.
One last song
We wind down by the water and the shuttle carries everyone safely home.
Where to find us
What to wear
Garden semi-formal, kind to grass: linen, easy dresses, nothing stiff. Leave white to the bride, and thin heels at home — the lawn keeps them. Evenings cool off by the river, so bring a layer you'd like in photographs.

Dinner is a proper feast and the bar outlasts the dancing. Allergies or a drink you can't live without? Tell us in your RSVP.

Our photographer catches everything. For the ceremony we'd love your eyes, not your screens — afterwards, snap away and share generously.
