How it began
Our story
A borrowed umbrella, a late train, and a letter that took three drafts.
Lucía and Álvaro met on a station platform in the rain, when he lent her an umbrella he never saw again. She wrote to thank him — three drafts, by her own count — and he wrote back the same evening. Seven years of letters, long walks and Sunday lunches later, they are writing the most important one of all, and they would love you to be there.

Black tie. Midnight blues and silvers are welcome, and shoes you can dance in.
Staying over
We have held rooms in Carmona for our guests; mention our names when you book.
