Come to the lake
We wanted one evening with everyone we love in the same garden — no schedule anyone has to keep, just the water going pink and a long table under the palms. Everything you might wonder about is on this page; read it or don't, only please come.
How the evening runs
The gates open
Arrive unhurried. There is shade, something cold, and a seat with your name on it near the water.
The ceremony
Under the rose arch on the lawn, short and true. Half an hour later we will be married.
Golden hour
Cold drinks along the jetty while the sun goes down behind the palms. Wander, and let the photographer find you.
Dinner by the lagoon
One long table under the lanterns, a proper meal, and toasts that will absolutely run over.
The first dance
We open the floor, then it belongs to everybody until the band gives out and the lanterns are turned down.

What to wear
Garden formal, kind to grass and jetty boards. Linen, long dresses, a jacket you can take off by nine. Leave white to the bride, and thin heels at home — the lawn keeps them.

Good to know
Getting to the lake
Parking is free inside the gate and there is room for everyone. If you would rather not drive, the marina taxis run all night and know the address.
A grown-up evening
We adore your children — and we are asking you to come without them. Consider it a night off; we can point you to sitters near the hotels.
On gifts
Having you on the lawn is the gift. If you would like to add to the first home fund, a card on the night is more than enough — sign it so we know who to hug.
